Job description

Equipment Technicians are responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment in their assigned area, while working in partnership with Shift Operations team members, area equipment engineers and tool vendors. Equipment Technicians monitor tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to repair equipment issues.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, including: fundamentals of electricity, and basic electronic components and circuits
  • Strong mechanical proficiency with the ability to understand and fix mechanical systems
  • Intermediate PC skills including a familiarity with MS Office Suite.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently prioritize tasks
  • Follows procedures and work with minimal supervision
  • Flexible with job responsibilities and shift assignments - Able to perform 12-hour work shift
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Uphold Safety and housekeeping compliance in work area and participate in safety improvement activity
  • Monitor Lot status and perform basic troubleshooting to optimize the Lot Scheduling to ensure timely scheduling for Priority Lots
  • Attending to AGV alarms, recovery and battery change
  • Monitor Tool performance and perform basic troubleshooting to optimize Tool utilization
  • Assist in performing equipment set up, Quals and post PM recovery
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve tool performance and optimize product flow.
  • All team members are required to complete their learning items within the stipulated time frame

Requirements

  • A relevant Diploma in Engineering OR equivalent working experience
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and looking for growth
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable with doing 12-hr shift night shift
