Job summary

Sun Venture seeks a Fall internship to support the global Private Markets Funds Investment program. You will assist in researching opportunities, benchmarking, and drafting investment memoranda.

You’ll help screen co-investments, perform financial analysis, and contribute to internal investment discussions. You will also prepare materials for the investment committee and perform market mapping across private equity and private credit, with exposure to quarterly GP reports and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy, Economics.
• Able to commit to a full-time Fall internship from Jan - May 2027.
• Candidates with relevant past internship experience will have an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of the Funds Investment program for Sun Venture.
• Support assessment of primary and secondary investment opportunities through research and benchmarking.
• Assist with screening of co-investment opportunities, including financial analysis and drafting memoranda.
• Participate in internal discussions to evaluate and prioritise investment opportunities.
• Assist in preparing internal materials for investment committee review.
• Carry out market mapping and thematic analysis across PE and private credit strategies.
• Contribute to portfolio monitoring by reviewing GP reports and data.

Job description

The intern will assist the team in the development and implementation of the global Private Markets (private equity and private credit) Funds Investment program for Sun Venture, by:

• Supporting the assessment of primary and secondary investment opportunities through manager and strategy research, benchmarking exercises, and analysis of track record performance.
• Assisting with the screening of co-investment opportunities, including conducting company and sector research, performing financial analysis, and drafting investment memoranda.
• Participating in internal discussions to evaluate and prioritise potential investment opportunities.
• Assisting in the preparation of internal materials for investment committee review.
• Carrying out market mapping and thematic analysis across private equity and private credit strategies, managers, and sectors.
• Contributing to portfolio monitoring by reviewing and analysing quarterly GP reports.
• Providing support on ad hoc team initiatives, such as preparing presentations for stakeholders, managing data and content, and driving process improvement efforts.

• Pursuing a relevant degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy, Economics and completed two years of undergraduate studies
• Able to commit to a full-time Fall internship from Jan - May 2027
• Candidates with relevant past internship experience will have an advantage
