Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Compliance Specialist (Contract) to support Private Bank operations. You will review name screening hits, assess results, and escalate potential hits to risk stakeholders. The role includes advising Front Office on adverse news and evaluating cases for potential PEPs, with MAS 626 awareness.

The position requires a Banking/Finance degree, at least 1 year in name screening, basic Excel, and Chinese screening/readership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Banking and Finance or related discipline
• At least 1 year in conducting name screening
• Ability to perform Chinese google screenings and read Chinese articles
• Basic Excel knowledge
• Familiar with MAS 626 requirements

Responsibilities

• Review name screening hits and assess results
• Escalate identified potential or true hits to risk team
• Provide timely escalations to Team lead and stakeholders
• Advise Front Office on adverse news and assess cases for potential PEPs
