Job description

Embark on an exciting journey and join our fast-growing Private Bank as a Client Onboarding Analyst. You will be responsible for onboarding new clients, providing an excellent client experience, and ensuring Barclays meets its obligations regarding Know Your Customer and other relevant regulations and policies.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. End-to-end client onboarding into Barclays Private Bank Singapore.
  2. Dealing directly with clients professionally from prospect stage to account opening.
  3. Providing tailored, accurate, and swift assistance to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
  4. Ensuring client onboarding files meet Barclays and MAS regulatory standards.
  5. Coordinating with Front Office, Operations, and Risk and Financial Crime departments.
  6. Role modeling procedural compliance and contributing to policy development.
  7. Assisting the Head of Client Enablement with queries, projects, and workflow management.

The role requires assessing skills such as risk management, change management, business acumen, strategic thinking, and technical expertise.

This position is regulated by MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore).

Qualifications include:

  • At least 3 years of relevant client onboarding experience in a Private Bank.
  • Excellent communication and diplomatic skills.
  • Ability to engage with clients effectively.
  • Deep understanding of AML and KYC regulations.

Note: Barclays requires proof of the legal right to work. Disclosure of visa status is mandatory; failure to do so may result in withdrawal of application or employment.

Purpose of the role

Assist relationship managers in managing client portfolios and enhancing client experience.

Accountabilities

  • Maintain client information, manage contracts, and prepare reports.
  • Coordinate schedules and facilitate communication.
  • Process transactions and manage routine client requests.
  • Gather market intelligence to support client advice.
  • Analyze client data and prepare performance reports.
  • Manage client communications via multiple channels.
  • Support project planning and execution.
  • Assist clients with product and service tasks.
  • Guide clients through account opening and online setup.
  • Resolve client concerns and maintain confidentiality.
