[What you will be working on]

The Consulting Practice within the Government Technology Office of GovTech helps agencies resolve complex IT challenges and modernize systems with confidence. We bring together deep engineering, product, and design expertise to assess legacy environments, align stakeholders, and shape multi-year solutions that are human-centric, scalable, and delivered by GovTech and industry partners.

Each team member is a leader in their domain and works collaboratively with GovTech teams and agencies to address the government's most critical technology challenges. As a founding member, you’ll also shape this growing practice while working on diverse and impactful problems in the public sector.

As our Principal Engineering Consultant - Partner Solutions, you will:

• Advise and guide client agencies from problem definition through to solution design, in both greenfield and brownfield implementations.
• Address complex, high-impact challenges at a national scale, driving innovation that improves efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead the technical evaluation and integration of partner solutions, ensuring they meet government security, scalability, and functionality requirements.
• Design and architect solution patterns that effectively combine partner products with government systems and infrastructure.
• Drive the development of technical standards and integratiojn frameworks that enable seamless adoption of partner solutions across government agencies.

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise software development with significant exposure to vendor solutions and third-party integrations
• Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and modern architectural approaches for connecting heterogeneous systems
• Strong track record of successful large-scale partner solution implementations, preferably in complex enterprise environments
• Experience in technical vendor management, including evaluation, selection, and ongoing relationship management
• Proven ability to influence partner product directions and negotiate technical requirements
• Track record for mentoring teams in partner solution integration best practices and architectural patterns
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to bridge technical discussions between internal teams and external partners
