Job summary

OneByZero in Singapore seeks a Principal Software Development Engineer I to set architecture and engineering direction across multiple engagement teams, tackling our most complex enterprise AI challenges in regulated environments.

This hands-on leader mentors engineers, defines platform standards, champions AI tooling, and partners with delivery leadership and clients to drive secure, scalable systems. Travel and onsite engagements across APAC may be required.

Qualifications

• 12 to 18 years of experience delivering and architecting production software at scale.

The Role

The Principal Software Development Engineer I is a senior technical leader who setsarchitecture and engineering direction across multiple teams and engagements.The Principal SDE I tackles OBZ's most complex technical challenges, defines platform and solution architectures for enterprise AI systems in regulated environments, and elevates engineering capability across the firm.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role with broad organisational influence. At OBZ, all engineers are expected to use AI tools effectively in their daily work. AI assistants and workflow automation tools are expected to improve engineering productivity, testing, debugging, documentation, and delivery execution.

What You Will Do

Travel and Location

Certifications

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional certifications are strongly valued.
