Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate reliable cloud services in Singapore. You will join a team that blends software, infrastructure, and operations to improve resilience and scalability.

You'll lead incident response, drive automation, and partner with engineering to ensure services meet SLOs at global scale, while maintaining security and observability.

Qualifications

• Singapore Citizenship is required for clearance purposes.
• Strong experience in site reliability engineering, software engineering, infrastructure, or cloud operations.
• Deep troubleshooting and incident-response experience across complex production environments.
• Strong programming or scripting skills and hands-on automation experience.
• Experience with infrastructure, virtualization, security tooling, and database reliability.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, capacity planning, service health, and SLOs.
• Ability to diagnose issues across multiple services and technical domains.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering teams.

You’ll work at the intersection of software, infrastructure, and operations—designing for resilience, improving service health, automating repetitive work, and solving complex production issues. You’ll partner closely with engineering teams to ensure services can scale with demand while remaining secure, observable, and dependable.

This role is well suited to an engineer who enjoys deep technical problem-solving, operates comfortably in production environments, and wants to improve how large-scale cloud systems are built and run.
