Principal / Senior / Psychologist

About the role

Singapore General Hospital is seeking an experienced Principal / Senior Psychologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. You will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality psychological services and contributing to the overall wellbeing of our patients. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative, supportive environment and contribute to the growth and development of our psychology services.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and providing evidence-based interventions for patients with a range of mental health concerns
• Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care
• Providing psychological support and counselling to patients and their families
• Participating in research projects and contributing to the ongoing development of psychology services
• Supervising and mentoring junior psychologists and psychology trainees
• Engaging in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance clinical expertise

What we're looking for

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
• Demonstrated expertise in a range of psychological assessment and intervention techniques, including cognitive-behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, and family/systemic approaches
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to formulate comprehensive case conceptualisations and treatment plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for contributing to the advancement of psychology services
