Job summary

ONE SEVEN CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Principal Process Engineer to join our client in Singapore's semiconductor sector. You will lead technology implementation, process optimisation and yield improvement across manufacturing lines.

You will collaborate with product and process teams, manage cross-functional projects, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 4–8 years of semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, yield improvement or related engineering functions.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, product performance and process optimisation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and structured problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with data analysis, statistical methods and quality improvement techniques.
• Good communication and presentation skills across technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, transfer and optimisation of advanced manufacturing technologies for stable production and high quality.
• Coordinate technology introduction activities and ensure new processes are implemented in operations.
• Oversee prototype development and initial production activities with timely issue resolution.
• Drive process improvement initiatives through data analysis and structured investigations.
• Monitor manufacturing performance and identify opportunities to improve yield and product quality.
• Investigate abnormalities and product issues, collaborating with engineering teams on corrective actions.
• Collaborate with product and process teams to address issues and improve overall performance.
• Work with customer-facing teams to support timely resolution of technical concerns.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, change controls, safety and information security policies.
• Lead cross-functional projects and support team development to meet departmental goals.

Requirements
