Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Principal to work closely with young children and their families. In this role, you’ll:

• Implement lesson plans & activities prepared by HQ, according to level and our centre’s curriculum

• Adhere to ECDA’s requirements and policies

• Comply with Masjid Al-Istiqamah SOPs and internal policies

• Collaborate cooperatively in a supportive team environment

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare workplan and budget

• Oversee allocation and management of school resources

• Supervise and evaluate teachers and support staff

• Manage school schedule and teacher deployment

• Support enrolment activities

• Conduct and lead team meetings for program improvements and feedback

Qualifications & Skills

1. Education

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (Leadership) from an accredited institution, or an equivalent qualification.

2. Skills & Competencies

• Comfortable engaging with parents and guardians

• Ability to converse in both English and Malay (to communicate with Malay-speaking parents and students)

• Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint)

3. Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in early childhood education, with experience in a supervisory or leadership role being an advantage
