Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Principal Analog IC Design Engineer with deep expertise in power-management to develop next-generation PMICs for portable consumer applications.

The role includes direct engagement with customers and opportunities for supervisory responsibilities within the Consumer Business Unit. The successful candidate will lead architecture and block design, mentor a multi-site team, and drive end-to-end power architectures—from switching regulators

Qualifications

• MSEE or Ph.D EE degree with minimum 10 years’ experience as an analog/mixed signal IC designer.
• Deep and demonstrable expertise in power‑management circuit design, including switching regulators, LDOs, charge pumps, and associated control‑loop architectures.
• Experience integrating power‑management and analog blocks into complex SoCs or microcontroller systems is a strong advantage.
• Strong people leadership, inter‑personal, teamwork and communication skills are required to work well within a multi‑site cross functional team.
• Willingness to take full cell or system ownership from architecture to debug and bring-up.
• Experience integrating PMIC/analog blocks into complex SoCs or microcontroller systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Definition and architecture development of high-performance mixed signal devices.
• IC block design, transistor-level circuit design and simulation.
• Conducting technical presentations to ADI’s internal engineering team and customers.
• Lead power block bring‑up, silicon debug, and optimization to achieve best‑in‑class performance across process, voltage, and temperature variations.
• Collaborate closely with system architects to define end‑to‑end power architectures and ensure seamless integration into complex mixed‑signal SoCs.
• Support layout, lab evaluation and test to ensure delivery meets requirements.
• Improve analog design methodologies to reduce time and cost to market.
• Power design core focus: architect, design, validate PMIC circuits including buck/boost, LDOs and charge pumps with closed-loop control.
