[What the role is]

Principal Geomatics Engineer (Survey Governance)

[What you will be working on]

You will work within a team that is responsible for shaping the future of utility survey and mapping practices in Singapore. Your role involves:

  • Developing new utility and infrastructure survey standards and specifications that align with SLA's mandate as the National Survey and Mapping Authority.

  • Working closely with the Land Surveyors Board and Infrastructure & Environment (I&E) cluster agencies to establish quality assurance frameworks for utility surveys.

  • Developing the governance structures needed to support Singapore's underground utility mapping ecosystem. This includes crafting new workflows and guidelines that complement SLA's existing survey directives and circulars.

[What we are looking for]

  • Background in Land Surveying, Geomatics Engineering, Remote Sensing, Geospatial, GIS or any equivalent qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ working experience in surveying, surveying standards development.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
