Our client is seeking a Principal Engineer - Wet Equipment to join their team!

About Our Client

Our client is a leading joint venture in the advanced semiconductor foundry business, produces a wide range of customized integrated circuits for global markets, serving industries such as telecommunications, information technology, multi-media, and digital consumer electronics.

What you'll be doing?

Equipment Coordination: Lead and organize task forces for both short-term problem-solving and long-term continuous improvement initiatives.

Production Support: Perform shift duties as needed to ensure smooth production operations.

Performance Optimization: Explore opportunities to improve Cost of Ownership (COO), cycle time, and equipment reliability.

Project Leadership: Lead and facilitate Continuous Improvement Team (CIT) projects to set and achieve ambitious goals.

System Development: Establish effective systems and guidelines for intra and inter-department activities.

Vendor Management: Drive vendor performance to meet and exceed equipment KPIs and SRS goals.

Inventory Management: Forecast and establish appropriate stock levels for spares and consumables, ensuring equipment expenditures remain within budget.

Team Development: Train and certify equipment Engineers and Associate Engineers to enhance team capabilities.

Who are they looking for?

Educational Background: MSc or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent field.

Industry Experience: 2-5 years of semiconductor wafer fab operational experience, with technical expertise in Diffusion/RTP, Ion-Implant, or WET processes. Candidates with over 5 years of relevant Field Service experience may also be considered.

Technical Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment and processes.

Leadership Skills: Experience in team performance management and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
