Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design and develop software for industrial automation. You will design, test, and debug robust software using C++, C#, and WPF, interfacing with hardware through Windows API, and implementing motion control and distributed I/O integrations.

The role emphasizes memory management, STL/template usage, and synchronization primitives with optional UI work in WPF/WinUI. Strong collaboration with engineers is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience developing industrial automation software with C++, C# and WPF.
• Proven experience with motion control cards and distributed I/O systems.
• Strong Windows API and memory management knowledge.
• Familiarity with C++ Standard Library and templates; Windows objects like events and mutexes.

Responsibilities

• Employ advanced memory management practices, including memory-mapped files, filemapping objects, and memory sections, to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Utilize the C++ Standard Library and templates effectively for code optimization andreusability.
• Understand and utilize Windows objects like events and mutexes for thread synchronizationand communication.
• (Optional) Develop user interfaces using frameworks like WPF or WinUI to provide a user-friendly experience for monitoring and control (if applicable).

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (orequivalent experience).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience developing industrial automation software using C++, C#& WPF.
• Proven experience with programming motion control cards and distributed I/O systems.
• Strong understanding of Windows API development and memory management techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of the C++ Standard Library and its functionalities, includingtemplates.
• Experience with Windows objects like events and mutexes.
• Familiarity with Windows GDI and GDI+ is a plus (for graphics-related tasks).
• Experience with Borland/Embarcadero C++ Builder VCL platforms is a strong plus.
