Job summary

Dyson Institute is seeking a Principal/Associate Principal Engineer to lead the requirements management and verification & validation capabilities. You will define, govern, and continuously improve the processes and systems that ensure traceability and lifecycle integrity across Dyson's product development.

You will collaborate with PLM, IT, and product owners to drive standardisation, evidence-based decision making, and continuous improvement within a complex engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in managing requirements and verification/validation in product development.
• Experience with systems engineering methodologies and lifecycle governance.
• Familiarity with PLM systems and traceability across design, verification and release.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic direction and governance of requirements management and V&V capabilities.
• Define standards, methods and procedures in alignment with PLM roadmap.
• Promote standardisation and continuous improvement across business units.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support digital thread capabilities and platform enhancements.
