Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. represents a leading medical device contract manufacturer inviting a Principal Engineer to lead LSR process technology across the full product lifecycle in Singapore.

You will oversee development, validation, and transfer of LSR molding, mentoring global engineering teams and ensuring manufacturing excellence. The role requires a degree in mechanical/ materials/ polymer/ biomedical engineering and at least 10 years in LSR molding within regulated medical device settings,

Qualifications

• Degree or Masters in Mechanical, Materials, Polymer, Biomedical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in LSR molding within the medical device manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA QSR/QMSR, process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and quality systems.
• Hands-on experience with LSR materials, tooling design, automation, process control, and regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, supplier management, and global engineering projects.
• Knowledge of PLM systems and experience in medical, automotive, electronics, or other regulated industries is an advantage.

• Drive process development, validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), design for manufacturability (DFM), and continuous process improvement
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA QSR/QMSR, and other regulatory requirements
• Partner with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and Suppliers to support new product introduction, technology transfer, and manufacturing excellence
• Act as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for LSR molding, mentoring engineering teams and leading cross-site engineering initiatives

Job description

Our client is a leading medical device contract manufacturer with operations in Singapore, Malaysia, and China. They are looking for Principal Engineers to lead Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) process technology and support the full product lifecycle of regulated medical devices.

Working Hours:

• Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 6:00pm

Job Responsibilities
