Job description:

Overall Purpose of Job:

Responsible for the development of Integrated Logistics Services (ILS) deliverables of the ILS programme that meets customer requirements efficiently and on time

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To assume the role of the ILS Manager for projects assigned
  • To lead the sections of ILS engineers in designing and implementation of the plan for delivering technical publication and ILS data to customer and ensure completeness and accuracy of the deliverables.
  • To lead the section of ILS engineers in designing and implementation of the plan for delivering training to customer.
  • To lead the section of ILS engineers in determining of spares required and subsequently arranging for purchase and delivery to customer.
  • To constantly conceptualize and implement process optimization for better efficiency in execution of schedules
  • To lead teams in analysis of data to provide LSA results for use by Maintenance, Supply and Training such as:
    • Failure Mode Effect & Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
    • Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA)
    • Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
    • Sparing Analysis

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficient in using MS Office suite
  • Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Trained in Mindef's ILS will be added an advantage
  • Experience

    Preferably at least 10 years of relevant experience in management of logistics, training, project or maintenance for ship systems

    • Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
