Job summary

GlobalFoundries inc. in Singapore seeks an experienced Equipment Engineer to maintain and optimize tool readiness across wafer fabrication.

You will lead preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex equipment, and drive improvement projects in a fast‑paced semiconductor environment. The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and at least 7 years of hands‑on experience in wafer fabrication or electronics manufacturing, with a track record of problem solving and supporting shift operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in equipment engineering, preferably in Wafer fab Manufacturing/ Electronics industry.
• Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems.
• Perform Normal / Swing Shift

What You Will Do

• Maintain and support equipment readiness in capacity of either an individual contributor (as directed and/or independently), or as a manager.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of equipment
• Execute maintenance and tool support ensuring equipment readiness
• Troubleshoot and upgrade of equipment ensuring minimize downtime
• Analyze and monitor technical charts
• Drive equipment improvement plans and projects
• Ensure and follow good safety practices and custody of tools, equipments and other properties
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements
• Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed
