Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a senior Quality leader to own and drive QMS documentation governance across Assembly & Test.

You will lead global standardization of quality documentation and establish robust document control processes that ensure compliance, consistency and traceability. You will partner with site quality teams to harmonize documents and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years in Quality Engineering, Quality Systems, Manufacturing Operations, Process Excellence, or Process/Equipment Engineering.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and Manufacturing Quality Processes.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and translating complex requirements into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive QMS documentation governance across Assembly & Test.
• Lead global standardization of procedures, specifications, work instructions, BKMs, and templates.
• Establish document control processes to ensure compliance, consistency, and traceability.
• Partner with site quality teams to review, consolidate, and harmonize quality documents across global manufacturing sites.
• Drive continuous improvement to simplify documentation and eliminate redundancies.
• Serve as SME for iQCP deployment initiatives and translate requirements into AI-enabled workflows.
• Define requirements, map processes, validate agent outputs, and measure value realization.
• Support pilot deployment, training, and sustainment activities.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual quality workflows and improve cycle time, accuracy, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead global standardization of: Procedures Specifications Work Instructions Best-known methods (BKMs) Quality documentation templates.
• Establish document control processes to ensure compliance, consistency, and traceability.
• Partner with site quality teams to review, consolidate, and harmonize quality documents across global manufacturing sites.
• Drive continuous improvement opportunities to simplify documentation and eliminate redundant processes.

iQCP Business Unit SME (Agentic Quality Transformation)

• Serve as Business Unit Subject Matter Expert (SME) for iQCP deployment initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into AI agent use cases and digital workflow solutions.
• Partner with SMAI, Digital Transformation teams, and Quality stakeholders to: Define requirements Map business processes Validate agent outputs Measure business value realization Drive user adoption of AI-enabled quality agents.
• Support pilot execution, deployment, training, and sustainment activities.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual quality workflows and improve cycle time, accuracy, and decision‑making effectiveness.

Business Process Improvement

• Analyze existing quality workflows and identify opportunities for simplification and automation.
• Drive standardization across sites and functions to improve operational consistency.
• Support implementation of digital dashboards, reporting systems, and self-service analytics solutions.
• Develop performance metrics and KPIs to monitor process effectiveness.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with: Global Quality Engineering Site Quality Teams SMAI / IT organizations Business Process Owners.
• Facilitate workshops, alignment sessions, and requirements gathering activities.
• Present progress updates and recommendations to leadership teams.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Computer Science, or related discipline.

7+ years of experience in:

• Quality Engineering
• Quality Systems
• Manufacturing Operations
• Process Excellence
• Process/Equipment Engineering
• Expertise

Strong understanding of:

• Quality Management Systems
• Manufacturing Quality Processes

Experience leading cross-functional projects.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into practical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality methodologies.
• Experience with digital transformation, workflow automation, or AI‑enabled business processes.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, AI agents, or RAG‑based solutions.
• Experience developing dashboards using Power BI or similar analytics platforms.
• Project management and change management experience.
