Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a qualified chem/engineering professional to drive incoming materials quality and IQC improvements. You will set up SAP QM, monitor SQM/MQM, perform inspections, and collaborate with global suppliers.

You will apply AI-enabled methods to enhance inspection strategies and drive continuous improvement, while ensuring adherence to QMS and delivering reliable materials for advanced memory and storage products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degrees in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in frontend process or equipment roles.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable.
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality consistency for all incoming materials
• Continuously improve the IQC business processes
• Setup and maintain SAP QM (Quality Management) and SQM/MQM for incoming materials
• Perform incoming material inspection and characterize key incoming materials
• Setup SPC monitoring program and reaction mechanism
• Manage materials disposition through incoming material MRB
• Work with global stakeholders on supplier quality management
• Ability to work with external and internal groups with a positive, customer service orientated attitude
• Apply AI-Enabled and AI-Assisted methodologies, including LLMs, AI Agents, and Generative AI tools, to enhance inspection strategies, automate quality data analysis, improve anomaly detection, and drive continuous improvement in incoming quality control processes
• Understand and drive key business processes used at site and globally
• For business process and/or QMS component that one is responsible or accountable for: a) ensuring the QMS/business process that is effective and conforms to requirements b) ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs c) reporting on QMS/business process performance and opportunities for improvement to management d) ensuring the promotion of internal and external customer focus throughout the organization e) ensuring the maintenance of the integrity of the QMS/ business process when changes are planned and implemented. f) ensuring customer requirements are met.
