Job summary

GlobalFoundries Singapore is seeking a device engineering lead to drive development, optimization, and qualification of RF semiconductor devices. You will own DOE experiments, analyze results, and partner with process integration and TCAD teams to boost device performance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with customers, establishing new design rules, test structures, and innovative approaches for continuous device improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree/Masters/PhD in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• PhD requires >5 years, Degree/Masters require >8 years of experience
• Wafer Fab device engineering ownership experience, preferably RF devices

Your Job

• Device engineering lead in development, optimization, characterization and qualification of semiconductor devices to meet performance requirements.
• DOE design, execution, and analysis of results.
• Partner process integration engineers to improve device performance.

Required Qualifications

• Degree/Masters/PhD in Electrical, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• >5 year’s relevant experience for PhD, >8 years for Degree/Masters.
• Wafer Fab device engineering ownership experience is required, preferably in RF devices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong in semiconductor device physics.
• Knowledge of RF fundamentals (e.g. S-parameters, Harmonics, Noise Figure) is a plus.
• RF test experience in on-wafer measurements and setup of test equipment (e.g. probers, semiconductor device analyzers, network analyzers) valued.
