Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for offshore oil and gas facilities in Singapore. The role covers MV (11kV) and LV (690/400V) systems, power management, and VFDs, with emphasis on studies, specifications, and technical documentation.

You will perform power systems studies (ETAP) and support FEED, detailed design, and project execution, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver robust electrical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 12 years of experience with electrical design for offshore power and distribution systems.
• Knowledge of IEC/BSI electrical codes and standards is expected.
• Experience with electrical system studies and power/distribution design.
• Ability to work independently within multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering design for onshore and offshore facilities.
• Develop and review studies, designs, specifications, datasheets, and technical documentation for MV (11kV)/LV (690/400V) systems.
• Support FEED, detailed design/engineering and project execution for MV/LV systems and MV VFDs.
• Perform electrical power systems studies using ETAP and conduct bid evaluations.
• Collaborate with a team of Electrical Engineers/ Designers for detailed engineering design.
