Job summary

OpenText looks for a seasoned consultant to drive strategic client opportunities in Singapore and beyond. You will demonstrate the value of OpenText Professional Services, partner integrations, and collaborate with Product and Leadership to shape demand.

You will mentor architects, design complex modules, and deliver high-quality demos for marketing and pre-sales activities. Travel is required domestically and internationally as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Strong problem solving, analytical, design and Business Consultant skills.
• Proven experience in data analytics, BI, BPM, CEM/ECM, reporting and data visualizations.
• Hands-on experience with data visualizations and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Focus on strategic client opportunities and deliver value to clients.
• Create solutions demonstrating the broader value of OpenText Professional Services solutions, sometimes with strategic partners.
• Work with Product Development and Leadership to shape client demands for product areas.
• Develop cross-functional team members according to business demands and professional goals.
• Understand multiple technical domains including application, data, integration, big data, mobility, analytics, BPM and CEM/CCM.
• Facilitate and participate in client and partner workshops, best-practice sessions and educational sessions.
• Understand business requirements and propose solutions aligned with current and future client roadmaps.
• Present design choices with pros and cons and recommend the best design for the context.
• Identify and manage requirements and change requests for consistent stakeholder communication.
• Design and program complex application modules, considering functional and non-functional aspects.
• Own solution quality by reviewing designs and source code and taking defect-prevention steps.
• Provide high-level work estimates and assist with task planning and allocation.
• Mentor technical architects and senior engineers.
• Conceptualize and build high-quality demos for marketing, analyst briefings and pre-sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with clients and sales to understand challenges and create detailed solutions for OpenText suite implementations.

Requirements

• Strong problem solving, analytical, design and Business Consultant skills
• Strong analysis and design experience in data analytics, business intelligence, BPM, CEM, ECM, reporting and data visualizations
• Experience providing effective end-user experiences for data visualizations and dashboards
• Hands-on experience in Actuate-BIRT/BDA Analytics preferred
• Experience in public sector, banking, financial services and insurance domains
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and software estimation
• Ability to influence technical decisions by clearly articulating reasons and justifications
• Experience engaging and interacting with clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to clearly document design choices and technical decisions
• Willingness to travel within the country and abroad as project needs require
• In-depth technical knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture
• Knowledge of W3C Standards, object orientation, Java, J2EE and Web 2.0 technologies
• Knowledge of SQL and software development methodologies
• Knowledge of databases and data modeling
• Knowledge of writing technical designs and testing concepts
