Job description

As a Senior Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for inventorying and documenting old systems and dashboards. You will lead the review and cataloging of legacy analytic systems, develop comprehensive documentation of system structure, usage, and dependencies, and collaborate with teams to evaluate outdated systems for retirement, consolidation, or modernization. Additionally, you will conduct research to assess the relevance and impact of existing business metrics, prioritize metrics aligned with organizational goals, engage stakeholders to refine key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure their adoption.Furthermore, you will verify that analytic assets are correctly integrated into the Zero Data Platform (ZDP) and compliant with platform governance. You will document ZDP-based assets, identify any gaps, manage the migration of non-compliant assets, communicate analytic dependencies, and ensure stakeholders understand their impact. You will collaborate with data engineers and business teams to gather requirements for new or modified analytic assets, lead discovery sessions to align assets with business goals, and oversee testing, validation, and deployment of analytic assets within ZDP.Acting as the liaison between analytics, data engineering, and business teams, you will ensure smooth communication and integration, manage stakeholder expectations, provide leadership in understanding data dependencies and risks, and drive improvements in analytics systems and dashboards. You will optimize processes and usability, ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements, and regularly review systems and metrics for consolidation and performance enhancements.To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred) and have extensive experience in senior analytics, data management, or data engineering roles. You must have proven ability to manage and optimize analytics assets across legacy and modern systems, familiarity with analytic platforms and data integration, experience with ZDP or similar enterprise data platforms, strong skills in research, data documentation, and stakeholder collaboration, expertise in project management for analytics initiatives, and knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.Preferred skills include experience with modern data platforms like Snowflake, dbt, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), knowledge of ETL tools such as Fivetran or Matillion, proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, and a strong understanding of data governance and compliance. This role requires technical expertise in managing analytics environments and strong leadership in collaborating across cross-functional teams to ensure data systems align with business objectives.,
