Remote worldwide collaboration is expected. Applicants should have 7–10+ years of research in CS or computational physics, a strong publication record, and excellent technical writing.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of active research in CS, mathematical/computational physics.
• Strong scholarly publications in leading venues.
• Hands-on computational research methods: numerical analysis, simulations, HPC.
• Ability to rigorously evaluate technical claims and verify results.
• Familiarity with literature and established results in the field.
• Excellent analytical writing and research communication skills.
• Independent work style with clear communication of findings.

Responsibilities

• Identify foundational open problems, theoretical bounds and computational challenges with rigor.
• Guide AI models through complex, multi-step research workflows with proofs and simulations.
• Validate results using formal methods, reproducibility and verification techniques.
• Assess novelty, correctness and significance against current literature.
• Document attempted solutions and limitations in concise memos.
• Recommend promising directions and open problems for investigation.
• Apply critical judgment to technical work beyond the immediate field.
• Help establish evaluation standards distinguishing progress from unproven claims.
