What you’ll be doing…
As an Account Executive, you will act as a trusted business partner to assigned accounts to understand their unique challenges and goals. You will advocate for the power of data to help organizations make better decisions. Using your passion for data, you will help spread the magic of Tableau globally.
• Create and execute effective territory and account plans to meet sales objectives, considering opportunities, customer priorities, product capabilities, and value propositions.
• Meet and exceed sales quotas through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing opportunities within your territory.
• Lead and leverage a matrix team of Sales Consultants, Business Development Representatives, Services Practice Managers, Marketing, Inside Sales Support, and Customer Success Professionals to develop and manage pipelines and enhance customer relationships.
• Build and manage strategic partner alliances as part of your account and territory plans.
• Manage and track customer and transactional data in CRM systems.
• Provide regular, accurate pipeline and forecast reports.
• Nurture and expand relationships with customers of various sizes and industries.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer challenges, market competition, and our products to drive customer success.
• Communicate effectively with leadership, customers, and team members.
• Participate in team activities like strategic planning, sales training, marketing, and customer care.
• Travel to customer locations as needed.

• Experienced: Strong field-based enterprise software sales experience with complex, solution-based sales and large deals.
• Performer: Consistently exceeding sales goals over a large geographic area.
• Mission-driven: Highly motivated, with a sense of urgency and belief in Tableau’s mission.
• Entrepreneurial: Experience working with startups and emerging organizations, with an ability to build and grow successful businesses.
• Domain expertise: Knowledge of analytics, data, databases, or business intelligence is preferred.

• Excellent Communicator: Proficient in English and Cantonese, with strong communication skills.
