Job description

Job Description:

• Operate prime mover
• Collect and delivery to Keppel Distripark & Airport
• Ability to walk , drive and carry heavy items for extended periods
• Might require to work on Weekend & Public Holiday (PH)
• Might require to work 12 hours shift
• Coordinating with operations team to meet customer requirements
• Ensure load capacity is in line within safety measures
• Ensure proper documentation (e.g. delivery notes, pick up orders)
• Endorsing of permits at customs checkpoint
• Check, tally and ensure proper handling of cargoes without fail before delivering and collection
• Report any cargo discrepancy immediately during course of work
• Manage the day to day transportation services
• Handling and delivery of goods
• Loading and unloading of cargo
• Ensure collection and delivery of cargo in a safe and timely manner
• Ensure safety of material
• Observe safe work procedures while delivering goods to customers
• Housekeeping and maintaining vehicles in a clean and safe condition
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
• Ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor/management

Job Requirements:

• Willing to work in Tuas area (5min walking distance from Tuas Crescent MRT)
• Min GCE 'N' Level
• At least 3 years of working experience in related field is required for this position
• Preferable candidate specialized in Logistics
• Process valid Class 4 or 5 driving license (Preferable has experience with driving containers)
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads
• Clean driving record
• Dynamic, self motivated, able to multi-task
• Able to communicate effectively with staffs of different nationalities
• Able to work overtime when required
