Job summary

A leading education centre in Singapore is seeking dedicated teachers to plan and deliver lessons while ensuring students' progress and development. Ideal candidates should hold a diploma or degree and possess teaching certifications like CELTA, TESOL, or TEFL. Qualifications

• Teachers with CELTA, TESOL or TEFL certification will have priority consideration.
• Able to follow tuition centre working schedule (work during weekends).
• Familiar with Singapore government schools syllabus or O/A Level, IGCSE or IB programme.

• Completing student progress reports for each semester.

Job description

Working Location: Novena / Bukit Timah

Working Time: 1pm - 8:30pm (Including breaks)

Working days: 5 /5.5 days a week

Responsibilities:

• Planning, preparing and delivering lessons in accordance with students’ need
• Lesson preparation and marking, including the preparation of appropriate teaching aids and resources
• Classroom administration
• Completing student progress reports for students each semester
• Establishing and maintaining good relationships with students and parents
• Assessing and reporting on the development, behavior, performance and progress of students
• Providing regular updates to parents on students’ performance and progress
• Conducting training for part-time teachers when needed
• Participating in marketing events and open houses as ambassadors of the company, as required
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree holder
• Proficient in Computer
• Teachers with CELTA, TESOL or TEFL certification will have priority consideration
