Pricing Analyst, is a role where the person is responsible for managing and analyzing pricing processes in SAP and Price Partners, ensuring profitability and competitiveness through price maintenance, reporting, and recommendations, while collaborating with sales and marketing teams, training staff on pricing systems, and continuously improving data quality and market insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the base prices (Net Prices) and Recommended Reselling Price List (RRP)
- Pricing Maintenance in Price partners (Global & Local)
- Managing any local price conditions for local sources / assembled products in SAP and support projects team
- Responsible for preparing monthly pricing analysis and reporting
- Responsible for operative enquiries for Pricing Topics, such as Minimum Transfer Price calculation and analysis, updating of price conditions, queries, uploading of settings, maintain approval process and tools, obtain price discounts, pricing analysis, campaign individual price calculations, etc
- Provide analysis for price levels for our products by considering internal profitability and external competitive price levels
- Proactive assistance to sales departments through pricing recommendations in generating profitable revenue for the company
- Create and/or optimize regular and ad hoc analyses/reports
- Responsible for the continuous improvement of pricing data quality
- Evaluate trends and competitive price structure
- Maintain and setup the Reference Pricing System
- Supporting in pricing issues of direct sales and distributor managers
Collaborations
- Participate in Pricing reviews for markets and industry segments
- Support product marketing team for product campaigns and new product introduction
- Conduct periodic training to Sales engineers on pricing systems, guidelines and processes
Working Experience
- 3 years working in similar field on business process management
- Industrial B2B environment would be desirable
- SAP Pricing Module knowledge/ experience will be an added advantage
- Strong business acumen
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills coupled with verbal and written communication, interpersonal
