A leading company in food production is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of food production equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience, with a background in mechanical engineering and a positive attitude towards learning new skills. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining hygiene standards, and complying with safety regulations in a fast-paced environment.
Preventive Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining food production equipment.
- Execute emergency breakdown protocols.
- Assist in resolving downtime issues.
- Clean equipment and maintain hygiene standards for production, post-installation, or repairs.
- Coordinate maintenance work, sometimes working with contractors.
- Ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety regulations during equipment setup and maintenance.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
- Possess basic electrical and refrigeration knowledge.
- Prepare maintenance reports related to assigned tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of maintenance or engineering experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
- 'O' level / NTC3 or NITEC in Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to perform shift work and willingness to learn new skills.
- Positive work attitude.
