Preventive Maintenance Officer - Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay

Hotel: Singapore Clarke Quay (SINCQ), 2 Magazine Road, 059573

• Inform superior of the status of repairs and pending costs, and indicate when it would be reasonable to consider replacement.

• Record daily service work, including maintaining individual maintenance costs along with time/task labour hours.

PEOPLE:

• Perform all routine preventive and curative maintenance.

• Maintain a broad knowledge base to handle minor problems across all department fields.

• Attend to all types of repairs and maintenance work within the hotel premises, including new additions or extensions.

• Assist with implementing the hotel’s preventive maintenance and repair log systems.

  • Participate in department meetings regarding proper operating and maintenance practices.

GUEST EXPERIENCE:

• Repair and maintain guest room facilities, lighting, furniture, and equipment.

• Prioritize work based on guest requests and management directives.

• Maintain stock of necessary repair parts, supplies, and cleaning materials.

• Lead the preventive maintenance program for guest rooms and public areas to ensure high-quality defect rectification.

  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and outstanding issues.

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS:

• Conduct scheduled inspections and maintenance tasks according to guidelines and PMM schedules.

• Handle all repairs and maintenance work within the hotel, including new extensions or properties.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Assistant Engineer.

• Demonstrate awareness of OH&S policies and ensure safety procedures are followed.

• Adhere to occupational health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures.

• Be familiar with property safety, first aid, fire, and emergency procedures, and operate equipment safely.

• Address hazardous situations promptly and notify supervisors of potential dangers.

• Log security incidents and accidents as per hotel requirements.
