Job summary

NTU Singapore is seeking a Research Fellow to join a university-level research centre for one year, renewable subject to performance. The role focuses on developing multimodal models and advancing computer vision and machine learning research.

The successful candidate will work independently and with a team, publish findings, and supervise postgraduate students as needed, contributing to impactful academic outputs and future research directions.

Qualifications

• PhD degree or at least 8 years working experience in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong background in machine learning and computer vision. Prior experience in 3D vision is preferable.
• Strong publication records in top-tier machine learning or computer vision conferences/journals.

Responsibilities

• To independently undertake research in computer vision and machine learning.
• To produce research reports and/or publications as required by the funding body or for dissemination to the wider academic community.
• To provide guidance and support to any students associated with the project.
• To attend, contribute, and where necessary lead relevant meetings.
• To undertake any other duties relevant to the programme of research.
