Job summary

MindChamps Preschool@ One Raffles Place PTE. LTD. seeks an dedicated early childhood educator to plan, supervise, and deliver developmentally appropriate programs in a supportive classroom environment.

The role requires maintaining progress records, preparing developmental portfolios, and communicating with parents weekly. You will guide an Assistant Teacher, ensure positive discipline, and uphold MindChamps’ curriculum and policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• Strong communication skills with parents and team members.
• Ability to plan, supervise and deliver age-appropriate programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and deliver the program in accordance with MindChamps policies.
• Prepare and implement programs and age-appropriate teaching aids.
• Keep accurate records of the children’s progress and address educational needs individually.
• Complete progress reports and develop developmental portfolios for every child.
• Communicate with parents weekly and through newsletters and conferences.
• Meet with parents to address concerns.
• Use positive discipline techniques at all times.
• Guide and supervise the Assistant Teacher in the classroom.
• Render basic first aid as necessary.
• Maintain teaching resources, classroom environment, and decor.

• Plan, supervise, and deliver the program in accordance with the policies, guidelines, frameworks, and philosophy of MindChamps.
• Prepare and implement programs and age-appropriate teaching aids
• Keep accurate records of the children’s progress and address the children’s educational and developmental needs individually
• Complete the progress reports of the children for each semester and prepare a developmental portfolio for every child
• Communicate with parents via the Connection Book at least once a week, weekly team newsletters, and conferences
• Meet the parents to address any concerns
• Use positive discipline techniques at all times
• Guide and supervise the Assistant Teacher in the classroom
• Render basic first aid as and when necessary
• Responsible for the upkeep of teaching resources, arrangement, appearance, decorations and learning environment of the classroom
• Be familiarised with all working curriculum documents, handbooks, and policy manual
• MINIMUM DIPLOMA IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION MANDATORY
