Job summary

MindChamps Preschool @ Serangoon is seeking a dedicated teacher to plan, supervise, and implement the literacy programme for the class, aligned with the centre's policies and philosophy. You will prepare engaging teaching aids and deliver instruction in class while using positive guidance strategies.

You will maintain strong relationships with Champs and their parents, keep progress records, and address individual educational and developmental needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Preferably 1 year of classroom teaching with 3–7 year-olds.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and implement the literacy programme for the class as per MindChamps policies.
• Prepare age-appropriate teaching aids and teach in class.
• Use positive guidance strategies at all times.
• Maintain strong relationships with Champs and their parents.
• Keep accurate records of Champs' progress and address individual educational needs.
• Collaborate with curriculum team to support students’ development.

Location: 151 Lorong Chuan, New Tech Park, #03-06 (Lobby F), Singapore 556741 (Lorong Chuan MRT)

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, supervise, and implement the Literacy programme for the class in accordance with the policies, guidelines, framework, and philosophy of MindChamps.
• Prepare age-appropriate teaching aids and implement the programme in class.
• Use positive guidance strategies and techniques at all times.
• Maintain and build strong relationships with the Champs and their parents.
• Keep accurate records of the Champs’ progress.
• Address each Champ’s educational and developmental needs on an individual basis to the best of your ability.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma – preferably in Early Childhood Education or Educational Studies (Early Years Enrichment, Creative Language Arts, Speech and Drama, etc.).
• Preferably with a minimum of 1 year’s classroom teaching experience with learners aged 3 to 7 years old.
• Engaging, dynamic and creative.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Strong command of the English Language (spoken and written).
