Job description

Early Childhood Principal/Vice Principal

Working Location: Bukit Arang, Pasir Ris, and more!

Working Days: 5 Days Monday to Friday

Salary: Basic $4,000 - $6,000

Qualifications: Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership (ADECL) / Degree in Early Childhood Care & Education (DECCE)

Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of the preschool.
  2. Provide leadership for setting overall goals for the school as a basis for curriculum objectives.
  3. Ensure daily operations are in order and in compliance with licensing and other regulatory requirements, where applicable.
  4. Oversee curriculum planning and professional matters.
  5. Mentor teachers in all areas to facilitate collaborative approaches to learning, teaching, and evaluation to improve overall performance standards and competencies.
  6. Set the direction for parent partnership, community engagement, and talent management.
  7. Manage relationships with parents to ensure concerns, issues, and feedback are addressed on a timely basis appropriately.
  8. Management and optimisation of centre resources and implementation of specific centre programs, initiatives, and events.
  9. Handle centre administrative matters and enrolment.
  10. Determine requirements that must be met regarding licensing, health, and safety regulations from the start and local regulatory agencies.
  11. Prepare budget and control budget expenditures.
