Roles and Responsibilities
Lead a team of early childhood teachers in providing quality education, holistic development, and care for the children.
Facilitate proactive and positive engagement with parents and the community.
Communicate with parents effectively, and build rapport and trusted relationships with parents.
Responsible for all government-related matters such as ECDA including renewing and maintaining license.
Responsible for the child care centre’s Profit and Loss to fulfil its objective.
Handle administrative work to meet the compliance and regulatory requirement for the centre’s operation.
Set educational standards and goals and help establish policies, procedures, and programmes to carry them out.
Proactively review current policies, procedures, and programmes and identify ways to improve the overall standard of the preschools and future preschools which will be acquired by the Group.
Actively promote the enrolment of students in the preschools.
Any other duties related to the services offered by the Company that are not mentioned above.
Requirements
Possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education or higher.
Must have DPL / DECCE-L (Leadership).
Possess excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Must be familiar with ECDA Guidelines & Requirements.
Being familiar with SPARKS will be a huge plus.
Possess at least 3 years of teaching experience in a childcare centre with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Spark experience preferred and a track record of handling a centre of more than 150 capacity advantageous.
