Key Requirements:

1. Certificate in Infant and Toddler Care and Development (CIT) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) / Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
2. Registration with ECDA and a valid first aid certificate
3. Preferred experience in caring for and working with infants
4. Strong proficiency in English or Chinese (our programs are delivered in a dual-language environment, in both English and Chinese)
5. A growth mindset and a problem-solving approach

Scope of Responsibilities:

1. Provide responsive and reciprocal care to infants, ensuring that their basic needs (feeding, diapering, napping) are met with dignity and respect.
2. Maintain a consistent routine that aligns with Montessori principles, supporting each infant’s sense of security and independence.
3. Monitor and support each child's development through sensitive observation and thorough documentation.
4. Sustain an orderly, clean, and safe Montessori-prepared environment that adheres to established standards.
5. Ensure hygiene and safety by regularly sanitizing play and feeding areas, practicing proper handwashing, and following health regulations.
6. Collaborate closely with other Guides to establish and maintain high-quality Montessori programming.
7. Communicate with parents through our online portal.
8. Actively contribute to events, outings, field trips, newsletters, and more.
9. Work as part of a team, sharing skills, resources, and equipment with other staff members.
10. Undertake additional related duties as assigned.
