MINDCHAMPS PRESCHOOL@ ONE RAFFLES PLACE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support daily meal preparation for children and staff. You will handle breakfast, fruit preparation, and lunch distribution, ensuring quick delivery to classrooms.

The role requires adherence to food safety standards, ability to stand for long periods, and the capacity to work independently while coordinating with teachers to meet mealtime needs. Monday to Friday 7:00 am–12:00 noon.

Qualifications

• Valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate.
• Experience in preschool or institutional kitchen operations preferred.
• Able to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 12:00 noon (25 hours per week).
• Comfortable with prolonged standing and reasonable lifting of kitchen supplies.
• Able to work independently, manage time and cooperate with teaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast for children and deliver it to classrooms.
• Fill and distribute classroom drinking-water jugs.
• Wash, dry and properly store breakfast dishes and utensils.
• Cut and portion fruit and deliver it to classrooms.
• Prepare simple lunches for teachers; children's lunches are catered.
• Portion and distribute catered lunches to the classrooms.
• Coordinate weekly grocery orders for children and teachers.
• Clean and sanitise the kitchen, work surfaces and equipment; follow food safety procedures.
