Job summary

A premier preschool in Singapore is seeking qualified Preschool Teachers to develop and implement educational programs according to the centre's pedagogy. Candidates must hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and have at least 2 years of relevant experience. • Plan the programme for the class according to the centre's pedagogy

• Review teaching and learning plans to meet the diverse needs of children

• Plan observation of children and prepare a portfolio as part of summative assessment.

• Customise all aspects of classroom management strategies focusing on positive guidance, valuing children's rights and diversity.

• Guide assistant teachers in engaging children meaningfully in accordance with the centre's pedagogy

• Provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children to think, wonder and question

• Designquality learning environment with developmentally appropriate learning materials and resources

• Evaluate documentation of children's learning and development to inform planning and teaching better

• Identify potential teaching and learning methods, tools and assistive technology based on emerging trends in the sector

• Identify opportunities to collaborate with families to ensure continuity of care and learning between the home and the Centre

• Developoutreach activities to promote Centre programmes and services
