Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is seeking a L1/L2 English language Assistant Teacher to support the Main Teacher in delivering developmentally appropriate activities in a preschool setting. Location is the Orchard area with Monday to Friday workdays and 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM hours.

Salary is up to SGD 2,500 per month. The role involves preparing materials, guiding children during lessons, observing progress, and ensuring safety and ECDA compliance.

Qualifications

• ECDA L2 certification is required.
• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (Teaching) or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Main Teacher in planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate learning activities.
• Support classroom routines and daily programmes in accordance with the preschool curriculum.
• Prepare teaching materials, learning resources, and classroom displays.
• Guide and supervise children during lessons, indoor and outdoor activities, meals, and rest time.
• Foster a safe, caring, and learning environment that supports children's holistic development.
• Observe children's learning and behaviour, and provide feedback to the Main Teacher.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness, organisation, and learning resources.
• Assist with documenting children's learning progress and classroom activities.
• Build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with ECDA regulations, health and safety guidelines, and centre policies.

Education

ECDA L2 certification
