Job summary

ABER CARE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to prepare breakfast and meals for children, handle ingredients, and ensure safe storage and hygiene across the canteen environment. The role follows Health Promotion Board guidelines and ECDA SOPs.

Applicants with School Canteen or Hawker experience are welcome, with a 44-hour work week from Monday to Friday. Training and compliance with safety standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a Food & Hygiene Certificate.
• Experience in school canteen or hawker setting is welcome.
• Willingness to work 44 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Breakfast, Lunch and tea-break for children.
• Assist to handle ingredients and supplies.
• Prepare meals according to healthy eating guidelines set by Health Promotion Board.
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients.
• Assist with washing kitchen utensils.
• Adhere to food, hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment in accordance with ECDA's SOP.
