Job Description:

As a Childcare Cook, you will be responsible for preparing healthy and appetizing meals and snacks for our students and staff, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences. You will work closely with our team to ensure that mealtime is a positive and enjoyable experience for all children.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for children, following our menu plans and dietary guidelines
• Handle the full preparation of meals using raw ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, and mixing large portions of meat, vegetables, and other raw materials.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a clean and appealing manner
• Collaborate with our team to accommodate children's dietary needs and preferences
• Clean and maintain the kitchen and dining areas, including equipment and utensils

Requirements:

• Experience in cooking for children
• Experience cooking for a large group of people
• Food and Hygiene Certificate
• Ability to lift and move heavy pots, pans, and food containers
• Ability to prepare

Working Hours:

[Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm] or as discussed during the interview
