Job summary

TALENTS@WORK PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support the main teacher in delivering a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children.

The role involves preparing materials, guiding daily routines, supervising activities and helping create a clean, organized classroom. Working days are Monday to Friday with a Saturday half-day on 21 November, rotating shifts in the Central area, salary SGD 16 per hour.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have Fundamentals Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (FCECCE).
• Have a passion for children.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the main teacher in preparing and conducting age-appropriate lessons and classroom activities.
• Support children's daily routines, including mealtimes, hygiene, nap times and transitions between activities.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure safety and well-being.
• Prepare teaching materials, learning resources and classroom setups for daily lessons.
• Encourage children’s participation in creative, interactive and play-based learning activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe classroom environment while working closely with fellow teachers to support children's overall development.
