A local educational institution in Singapore is looking for a teaching assistant to support the main class teacher and care for children aged 2 to 6 years. The ideal candidate will have a Fundamentals Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education and some experience in a teaching environment. Job description

* Support and assists the main class teacher in the implementation of daily lessons and activities.

* Assists the class teacher in the care of the children in accordance with the Preschool's safeguarding and child protection guidelines.

* Able to independently supervise children, provide basic needs and care for the children.

* Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents and their caregivers.

* Maintain a clean and tidy classroom.

* Upkeep of teaching resources, art and craft materials, classroom arrangements, decorations to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for the children.

Requirements

· Preferably with Fundamentals Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (FECCE)

- Some experience in teaching/working with children age between 2 and 6 years old.
