Job summary

Grow Through Learning Pte Ltd, a Math and Science learning centre for ages 5–14, is seeking part-time teachers to plan engaging lessons, build rapport with students and parents, and monitor progress while contributing to curriculum development.

You will work on weekday afternoons and at least one day on weekends, with centre hours Mon–Fri 3:00pm–7:30pm, Sat 8:30am–5:30pm, Sun 8:30am–4:30pm. Fresh graduates welcome; MOE syllabus knowledge is a plus and training is provided.

• Interest in Math and Science; MOE syllabus knowledge is a plus.
• Commitment to centre training and a long-term stint.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coach students with engaging lesson plans in small group classes.
• Build strong rapport with students and parents.
• Monitor learning progress and provide regular feedback to parents.
• Contribute to curriculum development and materials.
• Assist in centre administration, including scheduling and relief teaching.

Teaching Role:

• Plan and coach students with engaging lesson plans in small group classes.
• Build strong rapport and relationships with students and parents.
• Monitor student’s learning progress and communicative effectively to provide regular feedback to parents or guardians.
• Continuously share and discuss improvements to teaching pedagogy and materials.
• Develop and update curriculum.
• Assist in centre administration, including scheduling and relief teaching.
• Able to work on weekday afternoons and at least one day on weekends, either Saturday or Sunday.
• Part time roles available.

Requirements:

• Cheerful personality and passionate about working with children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, meticulous and willing to learn.
• Competence and interest in Math and Science. Both degree and diploma holders will be considered. Experience in MOE Math and Science syllabus will be advantageous.
• Commitment to centre training and a permanent stint at the centre.
• Fresh graduates will be considered, though applicants with prior teaching experience (as private tutors or other centre teaching) will be preferred.

Centre Teaching Hours:

· Mon: 3pm – 730pm

· Tues: 3pm – 730pm

· Wed: 3pm – 730pm

· Thurs: 3pm – 730pm

· Fri: 3pm – 730pm

· Sat: 830am- 530pm

· Sun: 830am – 430pm
