JOB DESCRIPTION – Presales Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Presales Specialist to join our growing team in Singapore. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by understanding customer requirements, presenting technical solutions, and demonstrating how our products and services meet client needs.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, communication skills, and business acumen to bridge the gap between customer requirements and our solution offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the sales team to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions and technical advice.
- Conduct in-depth product demonstrations, solution presentations, and proof of concepts (POCs) to prospective clients.
- Translate customer business and technical requirements into comprehensive solutions and proposals.
- Develop and deliver compelling RFP/RFI responses and proposals in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Act as a technical advisor during customer meetings and discussions, addressing concerns and articulating value.
- Provide competitive analysis and positioning to strengthen value propositions.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to relay client feedback and contribute to solution enhancements.
- Support post-sales handovers and ensure a smooth transition to the implementation team.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in a presales, solutions consulting, or technical sales role, preferably in a B2B or technology environment.
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology solutions such as cloud computing, SaaS, networking, or cybersecurity (based on industry).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into business-friendly language.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), proposal software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with customers in the ASEAN or APAC region.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Cisco, Salesforce) would be a plus.
- Fluency in additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa) is advantageous for regional engagements.
