Job description

Our client is a leading IT services firm specializing in application development, digital transformation, cloud solutions, and managed services. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Presales Manager to lead technical engagement efforts with public sector clients in Singapore. This role is critical in shaping tailored solutions for application services, collaborating with internal teams, and supporting the sales process from opportunity identification through to successful bid submission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical lead in presales engagements for application services opportunities within the Singapore public sector.
  • Understand client requirements, strategic objectives, and regulatory environments to design suitable technical solutions.
  • Work closely with sales, delivery, and solution architecture teams to develop winning proposals, RFP responses, and presentations.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical solutions that align with the company’s offerings.
  • Own and drive the solution strategy, value proposition, and competitive differentiation in bids and tenders.
  • Deliver compelling product demos, solution walkthroughs, and technical workshops to clients.
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, including CIOs, IT Directors, and technical evaluators.
  • Support post-bid clarifications, contract negotiations, and transition to delivery teams.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in presales or solution consulting roles within an IT services or systems integration environment.
  • Proven experience working with or selling to the Singapore government or public sector agencies.
  • Strong understanding of application development, modernization, and cloud-native architecture.
  • Excellent communication, proposal writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence technical and business stakeholders with a consultative approach.
  • Strong collaboration and project coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
