Job description

As a Network and Security Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding client requirements and developing customized network and security solutions. This includes designing technical proposals, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and architecture diagrams, as well as conducting product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and workshops. You will collaborate closely with sales teams to respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) while ensuring compliance with client needs.Engaging with clients to address technical inquiries and establish confidence in the proposed solutions will be a key aspect of your role. Keeping abreast of the latest technologies and updates from Cisco, Sophos, and Ruckus is essential to provide cutting-edge solutions. Additionally, you will support deployment teams by facilitating solution handover and creating necessary documentation.The ideal candidate should possess a robust understanding of Cisco networking, encompassing routing, switching, and firewalls. Familiarity with Sophos security solutions, including UTM, XG Firewall, and Intercept X, is required. Knowledge of Ruckus wireless solutions, such as Access Points and Controllers, is also beneficial. Proficiency in TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and network security principles is essential.Excellent communication and presentation skills are crucial for effectively conveying technical information to clients and stakeholders. The ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously is a key attribute for success in this role.Preferred certifications include CCNA or CCNP for Cisco, Sophos Certified Engineer for Sophos, and Ruckus Technical Specialist or equivalent for Ruckus. Candidates should be ready to join within 30 days and should be prepared for full-time, permanent employment with benefits such as Provident Fund.This position involves working day shifts at an in-person location.
