A leading technology firm is seeking an experienced technical consultant to drive pre-sales efforts in systems, networking, and cloud. Job description

  1. Technical Consultation:
    • Act as the primary technical point of contact for potential clients during the pre-sales process.
    • Understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging our suite of products and services.
    • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proof of concepts (PoCs) for prospective customers.
  2. Solution Design:
    • Work closely with the sales team to develop tailored solutions based on the client’s systems, network infrastructure, and security needs.
    • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, solution architectures, and technical presentations that align with customer objectives.
  3. Collaborate with Internal Teams:
    • Partner with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure the proposed solutions are technically sound and deliverable.
    • Provide feedback from client interactions to product management teams to enhance product offerings.
  4. Stay Current on Industry Trends:
    • Stay updated on the latest developments in systems, networking, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and AI trends.
    • Leverage emerging technologies in AI and cloud computing to enhance solution offerings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role, specifically in systems, networks, and security.
    • Experience in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is highly desirable.
    • Exposure to AI tools and solutions is an advantage.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of system administration, networking protocols, and cybersecurity principles.
    • Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), endpoint protection, and network monitoring tools.
    • Familiarity with virtualization technologies and hybrid IT infrastructures.
  • Presentation Skills:
    • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or similar.

Good-to-have Experiences

  • Experience with cloud security and cloud-native applications.
  • Familiarity with AI applications in security, predictive analysis, or automated systems monitoring.
  • Experience working with SME to enterprise customers across multiple industries.
