Job description

Role Summary:

Support cybersecurity product sales by providing technical expertise to customers and partners. Collaborate with the sales team to design tailored solutions, conduct demos, and manage proof-of-concepts. You’ll engage in solution selling, vendor collaboration, RFP/RFI responses, and internal training while staying up-to-date with industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver pre-sales technical support for cybersecurity solutions
  2. Collaborate with sales to develop solution proposals and strategies
  3. Understand customer infrastructure and requirements
  4. Conduct demos, solution presentations, and proof-of-concepts
  5. Engage with vendors for proposal development and RFI/RFP responses
  6. Develop technical design guidelines and customer recommendations
  7. Run lab tests and validate solution setups
  8. Provide internal training for sales and post-sales teams
  9. Maintain strong customer and vendor relationships

Requirements:

  1. Diploma or Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
  2. At least 1 year of pre-sales experience (or implementation experience with intent to move into pre-sales)
  3. Solid understanding of cybersecurity technologies and industry trends
  4. Comfortable delivering product demos and technical presentations
  5. Technical skills in network and system architecture (UNIX, Windows, SDN, VMware, endpoint/web/cloud security)
  6. Strong communication and proposal-writing skills
  7. Customer-oriented with good commercial acumen

Desirables:

  1. Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CEH)
  2. Experience with SSE products (e.g., Netskope, SkyHigh, Versa)
  3. Familiarity with endpoint, firewall, encryption, data protection, and vulnerability management tools.
